Glassbolt
This Mark two Redlam Bolt is designed for interconnecting doors that are used as fire door breaks. The idea is simple that on one side of the door you will have the bolt and on the other side a pull knob. From the lock side you simply smash the tube and the bolt will throw back. From the other side you would pull on the knob and that would break the tube resulting in the bolt being opened.
These are ideal, where you want security but at the same time want to be able to open the door in event of an emergency. The fact that a tube has to be broken and then replaced is often enough to deter randomly using the door just for convenience.
